In urban area likes downtown Tokyo, complex environment is formed by many kinds of artifacts(buildings, parks or etc...).
The causation of this complex environment is estimated that reflected heat of roads, winds blowing through buildings, traffic and trees along streets.
However, There are no flameworks for collecting the correct data of urban area.
Therefore, our project called UScan(Urban Scanning) build the sensor network for understanding the complex environment by utilizing camera, temperature, and other sensors.
Finally, we aim to create the information framework to support constructing "safe and secure" city.

ビルや公園などさまざまな人工物が密集する東京などの都心では、複雑な環境が形成される。
アスファルトの照り返し、ビル風、車の交通や街路樹など、複雑な環境を形成している要因はさまざまであるが、
それらがどの程度環境に影響を与えているのか把握するフレームワークは今までない。
そこで我々UScan(Urban Scanning)では、カメラや温度センサなどのさまざまなセンサを使用し、
都市の複雑な環境を把握するためのネットワークを構築する。
そして次世代の"安心・安全な"都市の形成を支える情報基盤の生成を目指す。

都市において、通りごとに温度差が存在することを発見いたしました。
